22 years
Greeting Family. It has been 21 years since we all have gotten together to rejoice and share the family tree. We have added tons of new branches to our family tree and lost some too. We would like for you to take the short survey
to see if you and your family would be interested in a Whitaker Family Reunion in 2022. Please pass the survey link by email, text or social media (Facebook, IG, etc.} to other family member to get feedback. We need your help to get the survey out.

to add yourself and family members into. Include as much information as you can name, cell#, home#, email and address and we will get the information out.
We would like to update the family tree so that each member has a reference to our family linage. We would like to get a photo to go with the names. A head shot photo, school photo, or cell photo of each individual to add to the register and family tree. Yes, we will take old photos as well. We are also looking for group family photos too . Please, provide, name of the event, dates and location. The Morris family had its annual family gathering on May 30th at Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, SC. We gather to celebrate Travita Morris 56th Birthday. It was a beautiful day at the park. The younger generation took part in bubble blowing and taking the paddle boats out on the lake for a spin. It was a great feeling to get out a see family. We have not been together since Thanksgiving 2019 pre Covid-19. During our time apart we have added new members to the Morris Family. Jacob Morris the son of Franklin “Junior” & Keneshia Morris Jr. and a Grand Daughter for Kimberly Draft. They are the two newest Grand & Great Grand Children of Bernard & Frances Morris. We started the weekend event off with a drive-thru safari at Eudora Farms in Salley, SC. We did a grave side balloon release for Benito Morris to celebrate his birthday. Elizabeth Morris-Davis and family from Philadelphia was in attendance. In Morris family fashion we told stores, talked family history and broke bread with family feasts of a seafood, BBQ & Soul food Sunday dinner.

This month the Rebecca Campbell family of the northern chapter had their annual family gathering on August 13th, 14th and 15th. They will be celebrating 20 years of getting together to celebrate Rebecca Campbell immediate family. Kim Hershey (Daughter of Claudia McMillian) will be the host this year. Events as followed. Friday August 13th Knoebels Park Day, Saturday, August 14th Family Day at a local park and Sunday, August 15th morning breakfast and fellowship before family leaves for home.
